The terrain can be somewhat hilly, which could make it difficult for some people to walk around. The website mentions Lexus vehicles available for guest use and complimentary resort amenities, such as daily breakfast, a mini-bar in the room offering snacks and beverages, yoga, and guided nature walks. This resort encompasses activities for those that desire a quiet setting but it also offers activities nearby for those that like a more athletic-based vacation such as running, cycling, and surfing. All things offered by the resort can be found on its website.
It all started in 1848 when 18-year-old sailor William B. Post traveled by ship from Connecticut to Monterey, California. A couple of years later, he married Anselma Onesimo, and they created a homestead in Big Sur. The years of growth began upon generations and generations of hard work to what is now considered one of the premiere vacation destinations on the coast of California. Nestled in the hills of Big Sur and overlooking majestic views of the Pacific Ocean, you will find the stunning, serene getaway and retreat, Post Ranch Inn. You will encounter untainted wildlife and breathe in the crisp fresh air.
We stayed at Post Ranch Inn for our 20th wedding anniversary. Upon entering this fantastic luxury resort, we experienced peace and tranquility. Gorgeous is the word we used to describe this property. Immediately, we noticed panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. The rooms are full of architectural value, and along the property, you will find many pieces of architectural worth. We stayed in a room with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Our unit showcased a rustic elegance and became a “paradise on earth” for us during our stay.
There are many activities included within the resort and a restaurant named Sierra Mar. We ended up walking and hiking trails, exploring Big Sur, and taking in as much nature as possible. We also enjoyed the warm infinity pool and felt Post Ranch had incredible value. As a momma of 4 children and having a busy life, we adored the stillness and serenity Post Ranch brought. It is a 5-star resort and worth seeing. While it is expensive, the beauty is breathtaking. It most certainly brought us a sense of peace and is something to see at least once in a lifetime.
This is a very big vacation destination and a great area for weddings or renewals.
