What to know...
The winery is open daily from 10 am-5 pm.
The restaurant is open daily from 11:30-3:00.
Always check the website for hours before you go.
This winery is up on a hill but is easy to walk once parked.
The tables on the patio are close to the handicapped parking area.
(As with any form of alcohol, drink responsibly and set limits.)
Recently, we encountered Falkner Winery and the Pinnacle Restaurant.
The entrance to the winery is lovely. As you arrive, you will find a road through the vineyard, to the top of the hill, where the winery and restaurant sit.
Beautiful...
The winery itself, as the website states, is an escape into a world of elegance/experience a haven where memories begin. They aren’t wrong. My husband and I enjoyed entering this fantastic property.
Walking into the tasting room showed us the quality of the winery. It was upscale, yet, comfortable.
We bought a bottle of 2020 Syrah to enjoy out on the property. I love the little bistro type tables.
Plenty of Seating Outside
They have plenty of seating for those that want to enjoy the patio, which was filling up quickly.
They also have space on the grass, which is where we went. We noticed lights overhead for those nights at sundown. Very elegant!
The wine was just as we hoped, a bit pricey, but showed an outstanding color and was full-bodied with notes of black plum, cocoa, vanilla, and spice. Delicious!
Peaceful Retreat...
Even though Falkner Winery shows a fancy vibe, it is family-friendly. Quite a few families were enjoying the outdoor space.
Pinnacle Restaurant
After having some wine, we made reservations online for the Pinnacle Restaurant. As our reservation time approached, we walked over.
They were quick to greet us with smiles and we did not have to wait. We were seated immediately.
We had excellent service by a certain waitress in particular.
They were accommodating when we had an issue with the heat from the sunny window. Quickly, we were moved to a better location in the restaurant.
Delicious...
We enjoyed a shared meal of fettuccine with shrimp and scallops which was 5 stars!
The chef certainly knows his craft. This restaurant has a classy elegant atmosphere with a sophisticated menu.
Views...
The restaurant and winery both have beautiful views either out the windows or on the balcony.
You could enjoy spending the whole afternoon at this location.
Listening to the birds was quite a soothing sound. Hearing the families enjoying their time was nice too.
