Quite An Adventure...
Off the beaten path and in the wine country of Temecula, you will find the beautiful Vindemia Vineyard & Winery. A family-owned and operated establishment, the beginning of this winery, absolutely needs to be shared.
Hot Air Balloon Pilot
David Bradley’s career as a hot air balloon pilot started in 1977. Eight years later, seeking the perfect weather, he and his wife moved to Temecula. They started their own business called California Dreamin’ Balloon Adventures.
Heart of Wine Country
They began running their hot air balloon company in the heart of wine country, where the scenery from above is astounding. Soon after, their dream spread to finally owning a winery where they could launch and land their guests right from the vineyard.
That is how Vindemia Winery began.
Great Location...
David and Gail Bradley are the proud owners of this fine estate with amazing views. When the elegance of the Old World collides with a relaxed Southern California vibe, it has to be visited.
Wine Tasting
In the rose garden, the outdoor wine-tasting experience is beautiful. It overlooks the vineyard and the valley. You are sure to find a sweet retreat!
"More Cowbell"
The website states their handcrafted wines represent some of the best varietals grown in Temecula Valley. Vindemia’s “More Cowbell” Zinfandel, Cabernet, Bordeaux, Viognier, and Syrah are among the favorites.
Award Winning
Surely finding success in crafting award-winning wines, and harvesting perfect grapes, allows them to further their quality wine venture.
Quite Tasty...
We were offered a complimentary tasting before deciding on which bottle to buy. We ended up with the Zinfandel. It was fruity with cherry and plum flavor and spicey pepper to finish. Quite tasty!
One of the qualities I find stunning about this particular location is they only allow groups of 6 people or fewer. Visit a different winery if you want to do a tour bus or have a large gathering. They are not welcome here. Slowing down and enjoying the “fruit” of their labor is what Vindemia is about. This tranquil setting is a calm and inviting venue in Temecula’s beautiful wine country.
In addition, at sunrise, before the wine tasting begins, you can enjoy a flight in a hot air balloon over Temecula Valley. This ride is one hour long, and they offer a champagne toast after your flight or cider if you prefer.
Again as always, be responsible when drinking…stick to one glass and do not drink and drive.
The Views...
Of course, we enjoyed our family time and chose to sit in one of the many social seating areas available.
It is captivating as you look out over the vineyards.
Hilly Terrain...
This property is on a hill and does have a steep incline, which might make it hard to walk the property for some.
For this reason, be careful.
Again as always, be responsible when drinking…stick to one glass, and do not drink and drive.
Have a designated driver when visiting wineries.
