About an hour north of Santa Barbara, California, through the rolling hills and beautiful vineyards along the 101, lies the small town of Orcutt in the Santa Maria Valley. Named after William Warren Orcutt, this little town, especially Old Orcutt, has always showcased an Old West vibe. Orcutt and Hancock, another familiar name from the area, discovered it was highly productive in the oil industry in the early 1900s. Since then, the town has grown. It has a population of 31,353, following a 2020 census. From this growth, many individuals have had success in the food industry.
