The Tour...

This tour starts with a briefing on what to expect and an intriguing story behind the name. Talking Rocks Cavern is a vertical descent. We were busy admiring the cave and taking pictures while adventuring down. It has steps and handrails throughout your visit. The guide warns of claustrophobia and heights. It was doable unless you are an extreme case.

Explore the Cave...

It has areas within the cave that get slippery due to moisture on the floor. Some areas are steep or tight to move through, as well. The guide is very good at explaining the history of the cave. You will also see the formations, which the tour guide explains. It is 63 degrees continuously in the cave, a great place to visit during any season. The tour guide is careful to take their time. They don’t want guests tired from the many stairs.

At The Bottom

Once down at the bottom, your guide will have some fun experiments for you. You will then go slowly back up, taking in the beautiful sights of the cave. The website states that they consider the tour an “edutainment” encompassing both words, education, and entertainment.  They do not disappoint. If you can, visit the Talking Rocks Cavern in Branson West, Missouri.
